Note: This section deals with, among other things, Using
the Audio Player, as depending on your use of the Sound Edit 16 software,
this can be one of the important aspects of creating a good sound
file.
To upload sound into the computer:
Using a
CD:
Insert your CD into the computer. A small picture like this should appear on
your desktop:

Click on it and is will open up. You will then see a selection of
tracks which are on the CD. Click on the track which you wish to open. You will
see an Audio player menu, looking like this

on which you
can
- select tracks to be played,
- loop (have the CD start playing over when it's finished),
- search for an item on a track (such as a specific time withing the song),
- select listening volume,
- play, pause, search a song
- see the playing time for each song, etc.
The Audio player can
also be used for regular playing of CD's while you're using the computer,
without working on any specific software or project. It is basically a software
which gives you the control a normal CD player would, with the distinction that
this one applies to a computer.
